Good. Very pleased to hear this. It's so easy to upgrade even last minute (as I did on Wednesday) so no excuse. Why people would resort to what is effectively theft to save around 15 quid is beyond me.

Always makes me laugh when people on here get slated for "ripping off the club" for £25 which is probably a lot to some people yet players like Sakho doesnt face any at all.

I upgrade my daughter's ticket regularly, easy over the phone, always works at the turnstile.
If people chance it then it's up to them but no-one should be complaining if they get caught.

'Bloke asked me my age then looked confused when I answered, almost like he hadn't been taught what to say after that.'
Actually made me LOL, that.

I got asked for ID coming in last night. Bloke asked me my age then looked confused when I answered, almost like he hadn't been taught what to say after that. I showed him my ID, he pretended he could read it, I walked off. Had my ticket checked on Saturday too, but they didn't ask for ID that time.

I went through on my dads senior the other week by mistake and the security bloke just looked at the ticket and looked at me and didnt say anything. He seemed rather relaxed about the whole affair.

Only done it once personally. Queue for the TO before Spurs was too long and me and my mate had sunk a few, so decided to chance it. Never seen so many stewards the other side but I saw one of them distracted so went through on my son's ticket and once halfway through when I realised I was ok, I passed my ST back to my mate who got in on mine. If I'd have been clocked I'd have just kept my ST on me and made out I used the wrong one.
People talking about passbacks, does the same ST work twice for the same game? Interesting...

I always upgrade my grandson's ticket when he can't go (too young for mid week night matches) and sell it to friends at face value.
I think I have seen that at the OS they are installing a system for checking you have the correct grade of ticket.

My mate used a kids ticket for years, got caught and lost his ticket a week before FA cup final tickets against the scouse went on sale. Karma!

Buster, that wasn't stated in the OP, it was just a general observation re. adults using kids tickets in the BML.
I am aware of adults that regularly use kids season tickets. Personally I think it's wrong and they should pay the upgrade, but I understand why people do it to keep costs down and I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
In any case, I think band 4 prices, which covers all tickets in the BML, are fairly priced and not a rip off. It's the higher bands, band 1 in particular that I think takes the piss.

My cousin had an OAP season ticket (not at West Ham) when he was in his 20's, so had his Dad and he was in his 40's at the time.
Both had used the same birth certificate to get them as well.
